What to know before you play.
A free app to find a game — or someone to play with — near you, today. Open the discovery feed, see the open games around you sorted by distance, and join the one that suits you. If nothing fits, open your own spot.
Completely. No subscription, no commission, no deposit, no card details. SpotGame books nothing and charges nothing: whatever happens on site is settled between players.
No. Browsing asks for nothing at all, and joining works in guest mode: one tap, a nickname, done. A confirmed-email account is only needed to host a game — someone has to stay reachable if the slot changes.
Yes, that is the whole point. Skill is shown so the game is playable, never to filter who is allowed to come. No game can require a minimum level, and there is no ranking, no ELO, no “pro mode”.
Far more than sport. Football, basketball, padel, tennis, running, climbing… but also gaming (LAN, esports) and board or bar games: chess, poker, backgammon, pool, table football. If it takes more than one player and it has a place and a time, it belongs here.
There isn't one, and that is deliberate. Enter your email, get a 6-digit code, type it in. Signing up and signing back in are exactly the same gesture — nothing to forget, nothing to reset.
The host names the spot and drops a pin when creating the game. The directions button uses those coordinates, not the name of the place. To be clear: the location of a public game is public — anyone can see it, even without an account. Don't publish your home if you don't want the address visible.
Not yet. SpotGame runs in the browser and installs to your home screen like an app: on Android your browser offers it; on iPhone use Share → “Add to Home Screen”. Same icon, same full screen, no store involved.
Every game has a minimum number of players set by the host. Below it, the game shows as “pending” with how many people are still missing; once reached, it turns “confirmed”. A game below its minimum stays visible — it is precisely the one that needs people.
